Call to Action: Are you aware of what your kids can read from schools libraries?
There has been a great deal of concern in our nation about indoctrination of children in schools. There are many in education leadership around the nations actively seeking to push their own extreme agenda through the schools, directly onto children. That is why laws are being passed around the country to protect schools children. For instance, in Florida Governor DeSantis led the way to ensure legislation passed to protect children from such indoctrination in schools.
Unfortunately, many educators are on the record as advocating to hide material from parents that is not suitable for kids. In these very difficult times in our country, parents have a greater role than ever in being on guard. One can no longer just trust the school to filter out material that parents don’t want their kids to read. That is why the Bartow Freedom Coalition has been working to obtain book lists from Bartow County Schools and Cartersville School system schools.

Please, as a citizen and parent, take time to look at these lists and search for concerning material.

Call to Action
This is a call to action to parents and all concerned citizens to start evaluating the booklists we have found so far. The amount of information is vast. The administrators and school board members, especially in the Bartow County School system, have been putting up barriers to obtain these lists. After months of work, citizens and parents are finally breaking through to help parents access this information.
As a result of pressure placed on the school board in Bartow county and Cartersville more information is available. The Cartersville School system has provided a set of lists of their books. The Bartow School system is about to release a full list. However, they have also been pushed to publicize access to online books lists available through school libraries.
Accessing Bartow County School Library Books
Some of these links to local school library books are relatively easy to find, others are buried and nearly impossible to find1. But the Bartow Freedom Coalition blog has done the digging to help you look at books lists directly.
It is now up to citizens and Parents to search and make concerning books publicaly known. Useful searches include keywords like “race”, “racism”, “Gender”, “Sex”, “Suicide” and other areas that are commons topics for indoctrinating children or are inappropriate in the schools. If you have a known book title of concern, enter that to find it simply a word from the title. You may be surprised at the kinds of books that come up when a search for “normal” is done.

In general, go to the Bartow County School Website, click on drop down menu for Schools and pick the school of interest. Then go to “media center” or “Library” and find the link for the library books. Some do not have a link that is on the media center page. So, after a great deal of effort, the following links are produced for you and presented here on the Bartow Freedom Coalition Blog.
There are also links from the “Media Center” or “Library” links for most schools, but you still must click a seach engine linke called “Destiny Discover” and then enter the “Bartow” School district under “district” and name of the school under “school”.
I posted the link and other minimal info on NextDoor under the title of "Parent Alert: Bartow and Cartersville Schools Books Lists by Dr David McKalip.". The leftist groomers were in an uproar and had the post pulled down. So much for Freedom of Speech in NextDoor. However many people did get a chance to see the info and I'm sure they are spreading the info to other parents. Thank you for you work on this!
