Aubrey Corporation Public Meetings February 7 and February 9. Time to Show Up.
Will you speak up or just watch it happen?

The dates for public input at an Aubrey Corp PGDD Open Houses on a Tuesday February 7 and Thursday February 9, both from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Commissioner's hearing room, courthouse main floor, 135 W. Cherokee Ave, Cartersville.
The Aubrey Corp is proposing a mass rezoning of the area along 411 East of I-75.
As a citizen, you have a unique opportunity to make an impact. Will you do it? There is only a chance for change when citizens show up and make their voices heard. Otherwise all the government will have is the expensive lawyers hired by the wealthiest people. But a small and persistent group of concerned citizens will always prevail. A larger group prevails even more quickly.
Development is reasonable, but so much high density development cannot be and is not supported by Bartow citizens. They don’t even support this much industrial development. As will be detailed in an upcoming post, the County changed the definition of “low-density” housing to include what used to be called “high density” . That is “low density” would now include six houses per acre!
The new dates for public input at an Aubrey Corp PGDD Open Houses on a Tuesday February 7 and Thursday February 9, both from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Commissioner's hearing room, courthouse main floor, 135 W. Cherokee Ave, Cartersville.
The rezoning case public hearing for Aubrey plan will be heard by Planning Commission on March 27 at 6:00 PM in the courthouse basement hearing room. Commissioner Taylor's hearing will be April 12 at 10:00 AM in the courthouse main floor hearing room.
Remember, this is the current zoning. Read more about the Aubrey Corp plans in this prior post.
Perhaps there is an opportunity for more citizen feedback on the matter. If you have concerns about the Aubrey PGDD Plan make them known in person or and also email County Commissioner, Steve Taylor, at commissionerpublic@bartowcountyga.gov .
