Transforming Bartow. Is Development Responsible or Excessive?
First in a series: Excess Development in Bartow. An overview of high density development, planned changes, Aubrey Corp and the World Economic Forum.
Let’s get one thing clear. Development is good: responsible development. But when development gets out of control, communities and its citizens can be irreparably harmed . Moreover, there are many forces at work that oppose the best interests of average Americans that are forcing development in ways to serve their own agenda. People should absolutely be able to develop and sell their land to others with minimal encumbrance in a free market. However, there are many major forces that have interfered with true free markets - altering prices, incentives, outcomes and players.
Today, the BFC (Bartow Freedom Coalition) is starting a series of pieces detailing how development is proceeding in Bartow County. This analysis will be done in the context of the goals of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the agendas of its many allies to transform society throughout the world. The results are happening here now.
What can citizens due to impact development in Bartow County?
Participate in the process by learning about plans, players and agenda.
Attend meetings of planning commission and the Bartow County Commission and City of Cartersville Commission. Come out at 10 am on 1/18 for the Aubrey Corp Rezoning for the “PGDD” master plan at the Bartow County Courthouse. (135 W Cherokee Ave, Suite 251, Cartersville).
Ask Key questions.
How accurate is the “low density” designation for housing - why does it allow high density development?
Why is the World Economic Forum trying to take over land (especially farmland), limit food production, cut the purchase of clothing and control all of world finance through a central control structure?
How does the World Economic Forum “Great Reset” agenda effect development and other issues in Bartow county?
Who is really benefitting from the development plans in Bartow County? The citizens or others?
The Bartow County Commission is set to update its 2018 “Future Land Use Map” to do even more development. This vote will likely occur in Mid-February or Mid-March. There is also another major vote to rezone and create a master plan for “greenspace” development on Wednesday 1/18 for Aubrey Corp (More below). Below is the current zoning map for Bartow County showing how most of the county is designated as agricultural. However, this is not the vision of development planners for our community.
The Citizens Want Development to be Less Dense
Again, responsible development is good. But the citizens of Bartow County will need to determine if the proposed development is “responsible” or even desirable. A recent survey of Bartow County resident clearly indicates that the current plans are not in keeping with the preferences of the citizens. The proposed developments also do not seem to be in keeping with the ordinances which call specifically to avoid “overcrowding of land” and “overcrowding of population”. The survey will be evaluated as part of this series in upcoming posts.
The Low Density vs High Density Residential - A Bait and Switch?
Last year the Bartow County Commission changed the definition of low-density housing to include development that was always called “high-density”. That means about six (6) houses can be put on an acre of land and still be called “low density”. Previously, the low density housing definition included no more than three (3) houses per acre. All of the yellow areas on the future land use map (and in the Aubrey Corp proposed PGDD map) are called “low-density”. But in fact, they can develop to what is actually high density development. Imagine homes piled closely together. That is high density and not in keeping with the character of Bartow county or the goals of Bartow’s citizens. The history of the density re-definitions and implications of higher density development will be part of this series.
Aubrey Corps and the Curious “Greenspace” Designation
The January 18th meeting will be an historic one for the county. It would be to approve a massive rezoning of Agricultural land for development with a master plan covering perhaps two decades. The master plan for redevelopment of the Audrey Corp Property will convert what is nearly 100% greenspace to about 1/3 greenspace with the rest being “Low-density” residential, “High-density” residential, industrial, retail and a major area for mining. It is curious that the plan is called a “PGDD” (Planned Greenspace and Development District) when in fact, the goal is to get rid of most of the greenspace. It seems to be a use of language to distract from an effort to actually remove much of the greenspace. Now, developing in these A-1 zones is quite reasonable. Especially if it creates more jobs for the area and a reasonable amount quality housing.
However, there are many unanswered questions relating to this development. Answers need to be forthcoming and we will explore those in this series. Some questions: Who is buying this land? Are they American? Do they share the same agenda as the World Economic Forum? Are they looking to build high density housing in the inaccurately named “low-density” housing zones? Why is a master plan needed ahead of time? Does that limit options in the future? What sort of precedent does that set for the rest of the County and Northwest Georgia in general, not to mention Rural America?
The World Economic Forum and Implications for Bartow
This post has repeatedly referred to the WEF (World Economic Forum) and the Great Reset. Well, what in the heck is that and why does it matter?
The World Economic Forum is a conglomerate of elite leaders from government, massive corporations and agenda-driven Non-government organizations (NGO’s). Remarkably, as this piece is being Written, Hollywood actor Idris Elba proudly proclaimed this well known-truth about who is behind the WEF! They seek a “Great Reset” in which a centrally planned system will be imposed on every person, small business, organization, corporation, governments and nations throughout the world. They actively call for control of energy, control of land, decreasing food production, ending meat production, limiting clothing people can purchase and compliance with social credit scores to ensure every person is in line with their agenda.
This massive effort is starting to implement plans in places like Bartow and we must be on watch to guard our freedoms from what is designed to be a massive global structure to be run by oligarchs. The WEF and the action plan of the Great Reset will be explored as we proceed in this series.
