Citizens have had enough of massive yearly property tax hikes on their homes. We need relief! This has inspired a group of hardworking leaders to pull together a group to ensure that the School Board Stop raising Property Taxes above the rate of inflation.
Citizens will be able to vote this fall to enact the tax hike limit after Bartow and Cartersville School Boards decided to “opt out”. Now they are following their usual path of spending too much, setting us up for another tax hike (see 6/3/25 post).
But, thanks to our Bartow county Legislative delegation (Senators Hufstetler, Setzler and Representatives Gambill and Scoggins) it is BACK ON THE BALLOT starting 10/15/25 through 11/4/25. This time you can vote yourself tax relief and the School board can NOT opt out! (It is noteworthy that nearly every local government in Bartow county did not opt out…only the School Boards Did).
You can change the out-of-control residential property tax hikes by voting YES for Property Tax Relief from 10/14-11/5/25. Learn more HERE!
We need to get the vote out. This is an off-year election with few big races to draw out voters. So we need you - Citizens of Bartow County - to HELP US GET OUT THE VOTE! The school insiders will certainly work to persuade people to vote “no”. They must be overcome.
Thankfully a group of citizens has formed a “Ballot Committee” and organized “Yes for Tax Cuts, Inc” to get out the “yes” vote for property tax relief. We need you to Go to YESFORTAXCUTS.COM . Please do this following
